the guidelines below.
First tell me something about yourself:

Name: Your character's first and last name.

Gender: Male or female, your choice.

Age: Pick something reasonable. If you prefer, you may wait to see
what rank I assign your character before determining his or her age.

Race: To serve in the Obsidian Order, you should be Cardassian. While there are no rules strictly forbidding half- or non-Cardassian characters, you should have a good explanation in the character's background. All characters must be loyal to Cardassia regardless of race. All races and characters are subject to approval.

Position desired: Specify whether you wish to serve in tactical, security, science, medical, helm, intelligence, ops, or elsewhere.

Background: Include as much or as little information as you wish about the character's background (military and personal history) and personality. I don't require a detailed background up-front as I realize that sometimes it's more interesting to let the character
develop on his or her own, and I know from personal experience that characters sometimes stray from the backgrounds we give them. But on the other hand, detailed backgrounds are always appreciated and help me to determine the character's rank and placement. Use your own judgment.
